Wow, how true yet it amazes me how often many of my friends let reason give way to undocumented opinion. <br /><br />And then there is the ostracizing of others from children and adults alike. Family in Minnesnowta are parents to 2 children, one with autism, one with asperger. You can only imagine what those children and parents go through because people react rather than think (reason). Yet God has given those parents and kids the strength to be reasonable and accept, tolerate the rudeness of others without complaint. Amazing family.<br /><br />Sameness, what a word. I often observe my friends seeking out friendships from those who share same political beliefs, same religious beliefs, same skin color beliefs, etc. Sad. I will never understand why one would want to close the mind. Opening the mind does not require agreement, it simply requires one to listen and accept. So easy and so rewarding. God is the greatest example of this !<br /><br />Paragraph 3 and 4 from the bottom. Read those sentences using the word I instead of we. Powerful !! <br /><br />My prayer is your written prayer with the word me instead of us. Good blog, thanks for making me think................hopefully reasonably.Dougnoreply@blogger.com
